ive lived in japan for 5 years but never really tried a pachinko parlor, because of the crazy atmosphere and confusing gambling. now that ive played this game i get it a lot more, you have to dedicate a decent amount of time. next time i walk by a パチスロ i may just step inside.

If youre a fan of Pachinko (ESPECIALLY if youre in or been to Japan), then this is the Pachinko app for you! This really brought back memories of my last trip to Japan. If youve been looking for a game covering this genre, you cant go wrong with this.

It seems like Im doing well with this game but its random and Im not doing much of anything. Its playing itself. It is fun to watch the little animations though. Its cute, good j-pop song, pretty flashing lights, but it should be $2. For $5 the animations should be translated too.

I recently visited Japan, and even though I wanted to, I never ventured into the Pachinko parlors because they were just to confusing, loud and Ive never played one before. Now after playing this and figuring it all out, I think I could try out the real thing on my next trip. Pachinkos fun!

I first got sho chiku bai lite thinking it would be the same as the regular, but it doesnt save your memory, and whats the fun in restarting the game each time?? So I figured I would buy this just to save my memory. It was totally worth the $2.00!! If you dont know whether to buy the game or not I totally suggest trying the lite version first and then if you enjoy the game buy it. This game is highly addictive, colorful, and fun to play. The animations are very cute and the songs upbeat tempo keeps you wanting more pachinko!

The instructions made it easy for me to understand the game, now I cant stop playing it, great sound. I wish someone would come up with one of those Japanese type slot machines, cant think of the name of them, I think they are japanese.

This is an outstanding simulation of a modern digi-pachi, with wonderful graphics and music. The balls are very kinetic and you can leave the handle on and just watch the numbers spin and hope for reaches. Room for improvement: handle can never quite be set to bounce balls off the top pin so they have a chance of going down either side. Also the handle obscures the playfield so it would be better (and more authentic) to have it below covering the window that shows the winning balls falling in the tray. Still, as an owner of a number of real pachinko machines, I can attest that it truly captures the unique Japanese experience of this traditional game.

If youre new to pachinko, the built in instructions are clear. The game is easy to learn. The graphics and animation are excellently done. Its a fun, entertaining diversion. Thanks for the application

Great to see an excellent original pachinko game available! With the game mechanics so well done, Im looking forward to seeing them used again in sequels. :)

Let me start by saying that I am a Pachinko fanatic and have been since my first trip to Japan many years ago. If you dont know what Pachinko is, think of it as a cross between a pinball machine and a slot machine. You dont have the same amount of control as a pinball machine (theres no flippers or nudging of the balls) but you do control the speed and timing of the release of the ball(s), which activate the center spinner, so its not pure random chance (the way it is with a slot machine). If youre a fan Pachinko or things Japanese or J-Pop music, give this a try (or try the Lite version for free) and see if you dont get hooked on the music and animations! We dont get many Pachinko simulations on any platform here in the US, so its great to see this developer come out of the gate with a solid start. Heres hoping theres more to come!

I love this app! Its cute, its flashy, its authentic pachinko! I love how much of the Japanese is preserved. If the animations and lyrics had been translated it would have lost some of its endearment.

But that doesnt make it any less fun.

This is a great game of pachinko for on the go with plenty of unlockable content to keep you playing. The J-pop song really got stuck in my head and I had to go and buy the single! (its composed by the guy who scored Metal Gear Solid).

This is a great pachinko sim. It is modeled after the earlier electronic versions of the machines. I have a real modern pachinko game from Japan and this game plays much like my machine does. I highly recommend it if you want to try your luck (and skill) at pachinko. The game has a few sweet spots just like the real ones do so there is some skill involved with playing this game. Nice job!!

one of my favorite apps. great pachinko sim, adorable art, catchy song worth buying on iTunes, cherry blossoms, and mischievious cats. what more could u want? the art is cute and the animations and sound fx are really clever and funny, especially when you dont win. only problem? it basically plays itself and if u just start it and leave it on all day at work, youll have 10-20k balls when u return to it - without any interaction required. and yet, despite the lack of any real play value, I still play it and get excited when I hear the bonus round song. that says something. try it!
